Im looking for cards that are very relevant to the formats where they see play, and in multiple formats if possible

Gimli pops up here too, as does fellow Dwarf Glin but Red does feel a little short on options in the LOTR set, at least when it comes to its potential Commanders

Theres likely plenty of times you can cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger for only 2 mana in a creature-heavy deck, leaving you extra mana to try to protect it with cards like Heroic Intervention or Mithril Coat

But by that point, their dwindling mana pool will hopefully have given you enough of an advantage to win
